FULL BIO
Erin Fitzgerald is a high-impact leader who delivers complex, large-scale outcomes at the intersection of food systems, capital markets, and infrastructure. She combines sharp strategic thinking with hands-on execution — structuring capital stacks and incentive finance, including New Markets Tax Credits, integrating AI across business functions, and leading land, power, and community strategy to unblock data center and infrastructure projects. She also supports high-growth food and agriculture startups with partnerships, go-to-market, and scaling.
Erin takes on fractional executive, operating partner, and board advisory roles. She is the person organizations call when they need someone who can see the big picture and actually get things done.
As former CEO of U.S. Farmers & Ranchers in Action, she transformed a defensive trade group into a powerful commercial coalition representing 1.2 million farmers. She secured the formal endorsement of 160 C-suite leaders for the Decade of Ag Vision. She also developed the first strategic investment framework ever produced for the food and agriculture sector and presented it at the World Economic Forum and the United Nations.
Previously, at the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, Erin drove large-scale operational and product innovation across the supply chain. She launched $238 million in projects spanning energy efficiency, sustainable packaging, on-farm sustainability metrics, food waste reduction, and nutrition density. Notably, she led a $3 billion biogas roadmap in partnership with the DOE, EPA, and USDA, earning White House recognition for the initiative.
Today, through Fitzgerald Consulting, Erin serves as a fractional executive and board advisor to founders, venture-backed companies, and institutional investors. She currently advises Moonflare, Soho Capital Fund, Strategus LLC, and AgTech PR, and serves on the boards of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation, the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership, FFORA, and The Carbon Underground.
